Katie S. Bole

Life rarely comes easy, as Katie learned early on. Inspired by her father, who taught her that hard work, determination, and passion are the key ingredients to success, she developed a commitment to showing incredible effort in all her responsibilities and pushing through every challenge. Her dad’s wisdom instilled in her the drive to pursue a career that was both challenging and rewarding - a path that ultimately led Katie to become a lawyer.

A proud native of Kent County, Delaware, Katie graduated from Caesar Rodney High School before attending the University of Delaware, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in History. After her freshman year of college, she decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and joined the Bethany Beach Patrol. What began as a summer job quickly turned into six full-time summers spent guarding the shores of Bethany Beach.

Those summers were transformative for Katie, teaching her lessons that will last a lifetime: the power of pushing beyond her comfort zone, discovering the magnitude of her inner strength, and forging lasting friendships built on shared experiences in the sand. Not only did she make precious memories, but Katie also made history as the first female lifeguard in Bethany Beach Patrol's history to win the Lifeguard of the Year award, an achievement she holds dear.

Katie continued her academic journey at Widener University School of Law, where she maintained the same commitment to excellence. She was a member of the Widener Law Review and graduated cum laude.

Katie worked as a Law Clerk for Procino-Wells & Woodland, LLC in the summer of 2023. Her detailed exposure to estate planning and elder law shaped the decisions she made in the following, and last, year of law school. The specialty of law complements how highly Katie values family and legacy, and it was an effortless decision to begin her legal career with the firm after graduation in 2024.

Today, Katie lives in Dagsboro, Delaware, with her fiancé, Nick, whom she met during her time at the Bethany Beach Patrol. In her free time, Katie enjoys staying active - walking, running, or lifting - and cherishes any day spent at her favorite place, the beach. Whether she’s wearing the hat of a lawyer or lifeguard, Katie continues to live by the lessons learned from her dad, believing wholeheartedly that the best things in life come when you push yourself to be your best.
